I was blissfully unaware of the amazing Shukhov tower until reading this article about its impending demolition .
Now getting some heavyweight names (Koolhass, Foster, Kuma) added to a petition to save the tower, which, having not been rennovated for its entire 92 year life, simply just needs some love.
Amazing that pure maths can not only produce something of such longevity, but also total beauty.
